Abstract
Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Hipervīzoru savietojamība”. Darba mērķis ir iegūt zināšanas par hipervīzoriem, izpētīt un izprast to darbību, kā arī noteikt virtuālo mašīnu migrācijas labās un sliktās puses. Darba izstrādes gaitā tiek veikta virtuālās mašīnas migrācija starp diviem dažādiem hipervīzoriem (Hyper-V un XenServer Citrix).Viens no tiem ir balstīts uz Windows bāzes, bet otrs uz Linux bāzes.
The topic of bachelors thesis is “Hypervisor compatibility”. The goal of this work is to get knowledge about hypervisors, explore and understand the priciples about how they work, and make the conclusions about the good and the bad sides when transfering virtual machines between them. During this work between the two hypervisors (Hyper-V and XenServer Citrix) existing virtual machine is being transferred. One of the hypervisors is based on Windows platform, but the other one on the Linux platform.
