‘Uz datu noliktavas shēmas evolūciju orientēts vaicājumu definēšanas un attēlošanas rīks’
anotācija
Datu noliktavas attīstības laikā notiek shēmas evolūcija gan izmaiņu dēļ datu avotos, gan
dinamisko darījumprasību dēļ. Lai risinātu dažādas evolūcijas problēmas, ir iespējams uzturēt
datu noliktavas shēmas versijas. Promocijas darba mērķis ir izstrādāt daudzversiju datu
noliktavas koncepciju un atskaišu definēšanas un attēlošanas rīku, kas spēj izpildīt atskaites uz
vairākām datu noliktavas shēmas versijām. Promocijas darba ietvaros tika izstrādāti datu
noliktavas shēmas versiju metadati, shēmu versiju glabāšanas risinājums relāciju datu bāzē un
atskaišu rīks, kurā ir realizēts darbā izstrādātais SQL vaicājumu konstruēšanas algoritms, kas,
balstoties uz atskaites specifikāciju metadatos, ģenerē vaicājumus vienai vai vairākām datu
noliktavas shēmas versijām. Izstrādātā pieeja tika aprobēta, novērtēta un salīdzināta ar
tradicionālo pieeju.

Doctoral Thesis of Darja Solodovņikova ‘Data Warehouse Schema Evolution-Oriented Reports Definition and Execution Tool’ Abstract During the development, schemata of data warehouses often evolve due to changes in data sources and dynamic business requirements. To solve various evolution problems, it is possible to maintain data warehouse schema versions. The goal of this thesis is to develop the concepts of multiversion data warehouse and reports definition and execution tool that allows to execute reports on multiple data warehouse schema versions. Withing the framework of the thesis, the metadata that describe data warehouse schema versions and schema version storage solution for relational database were developed. The developed reporting tool implements the SQL query generation algorithm, which constructs queries on one or several scheme versions, based on reporting metadata.
