Abstract
Mesostigmata ercu fauna un sadalijums dzivotnes Latvija
Anotacija
sabiedribas dzivotnes. Astonos no desmit dzivotnu tipiem konstatetas stenobiontas
sugas potenciali izmantojamas attiecigas dzivotnes raksturošanai. Vislielakais
sabiedribas. Lielaks stenobionto sugu ipatsvars konstatets dabiskajas dzivotnes, bet
mazaks - atropogeni ietekmetas dzivotnes.
Atslegas vardi: Mesostigmata, dzivotnes, eiribionti, stenobionti.
Fauna and distribution of Mesostigmata mites in Latvia Summary The aim of the Doctoral thesis was to investigate the Mesostigmata mite fauna of Latvia and preference of species for different habitats and comparision of species communities. Two species were discribed as new for science and 126 species recorded as new for the fauna of Latvia. The highest species richness was recorded for forest and meadow soils. The highest similarity of species communities was found for dune and meadow soils, forest and agricultural soils, and bracket fungi and wood habitats. Specialist species were fond for eight of ten habitats, and these species may be used as indicators. The highest number of specialist species was recorded for communities related to insects and vertebrates. A higher proportion of specialist species was recorded for natural habitats in contrast to anthropogenic habitats. Key words: Mesostigmata, habitats, euribionts, stenobionts.
