Abstract
This bachelor's thesis aims to understand the structure of the agreements, changes in the trade agreements, and potential negative on positive impacts on the trade. Free trade promotes international competition with domestic companies, leading to job losses and damaging significant sectors. This is a present issue that has been researched. The aim of the study is to understand why some free trade agreements are successful or failed, and the obstacles to drafting agreements. The main objectives of the thesis are to analyse three free trade agreements: the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA), and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
