Abstract
Bakalaura darbā tika apskatīta testu automatizācijas rīku izvēle teorijā un praksē. Tika aplūkoti rīku izvēles ieteikumi un apsvērumi, kā arī dažādas testu automatizācijas pieejas un labā prakse testu rakstīšanā. Praktiski ir salīdzināti divi no populārākajiem bezmaksas rīkiem grafiskās saskarnes, API, veiktspējas un drošības testēšanā, kā arī izpētīta lietojamības testu automatizācija. Salīdzinājums ir veikts reālā sistēmā, salīdzinot testēšanas rīku iespējas, veicot rezultātu analīzi un izvirzot atbilstošāko rīku ieteikumus. Lai attīstītu testu automatizāciju uzņēmuma līmenī, ir izstrādāts testu plāns pilota projektam ar Cypress rīku saskarnes testēšanai.
The bachelor thesis examined the process of choosing test automation tools in theory and practice. The thesis covers recommendations and considerations for tool selection, as well as various test automation approaches and good practices in test writing. Two of the most popular free tools for GUI, API, performance, and security testing are compared hands-on, and ways of usability test automation are explored. The comparison is made on a real system, comparing the capabilities of the testing tools, analyzing the results, and making recommendations for the most appropriate tools. To improve and develop test automation at the enterprise level, a test plan has been developed for a pilot project with Cypress for interface testing.
