Abstract
Maģistra darbs „Ožas kods kā žanra raksturojums utopijās un antiutopijās” ir veltīta utopiju un antiutopiju žanru norobežošanai. Darbā ir izpētīts jautājumu klāsts, kas ir saistīti ar utopiju un antiutopiju žanra izcelsmi, to norobežošanas problēmu, kā arī ožas koda lomu un funkcijām tekstā. Pamatojoties uz veikta pētījuma ir izdalīti un klasificēti I. Jefremova "Andromēdas miglājs", O. Hakslija "Sala", J. Zamjatina "Mēs", O. Hakslija "Brīnišķīgā jaunā pasaule" un D. Orvela "1984" romānu ožas kodi. Pamatojoties uz veiktās klasifikācijās ir atklāta (konstatēta) likumsakarība, ar ko palīdzību ožas kods veic žanru konvencijas funkciju tekstā.
Master’s thesis «Odour Code as Genre Characteristics of Utopias and Anti-Utopias» studies a problem of differentiation of genres utopia and anti-utopia. In the paper several questions are investigated: questions, connected with the origin of genres of utopia and anti-utopia, with the problem of differentiation of these genres, as well as with the role of odour code in the text. Based on the research made, odour codes of I. Yefremov’s novel “Andromeda Nebula”, A. Huxley’s novel “Island”, Y.Zamyatin’s novel “We”, A. Huxley’s novel “Brave New World” and G. Orwell’s novel “1984” are selected and classified. As a result of the classification made the regularity describing the odour code role as a genre convention in the literary text was found.
