– 12. gadsimta aproces.
The purpose of this job is the characterization and analyses of the Latgallians' bracelets dated between the 9th and 12th century. From the wide variety of bracelets, spiral bracelets, ribbon-like bracelets with concave expanded ends, with hemispheric ends, with segment ends and with beast-head ends and narrow ribbon-like bracelets with narrowed ends were all analyzed. During this assessment were not analyzed in detail cuff-shaped bracelets and warrior's bracelets, which are characteristic types of the Latgallians' culture, as these bracelets have been already analysed. For the purpose of this job bracelets are analyzed, taking into account their cross-sections of the bow. The chronology of bracelets was established during this work. There are separately surveyed bracelets worn by women, men and both genders. There is an analysis of the ornamentation of bracelets. In the bow of the bracelets is geometrical ornamentation, which is situated in a row or that makes a covering or plaited pattern. Local characteristic traditions from the Latgallians' design were used in the braclets.en_US
