Dieva tēls Džulianas no Norvičas un Mārdžerijas Kempes darbos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts viduslaiku sieviešu reliģiskās literatūras izpētei. Sievietēm viduslaiku Eiropā bija aizliegts paust savus reliģiskos uzskatus, taču zināma iespēja to darīt parādījās līdz ar misticisma kustības uzplaukumu. Darba mērķis bija analizēt Dieva tēlu divu viduslaiku mistiķu darbos – Džulianas no Norvičas darbā „Dievišķās mīlestības atklāsmes” un Mārdžerijas Kempes darbā „Mārdžerijas Kempes grāmata”. Pētījums tika balstīts uz aprakstošo, vēsturisko, biogrāfisko un salīdzinošo izpētes metodi. Darba gaitā tika secināts, ka Džuliana no Norvičas un Mārdžerija Kempe lieto vienādus pieredzes domēnus, lai raksturotu Dievu, taču šīs līdzības nenozīmē, ka abu mistiķu idejas par Dievu ir vienādas. Padziļinātas analīzes rezultātā tika secināts, ka Džuliana no Norvičas un Mārdžerija Kempe uztvēra Dievu atšķirīgi.

The bachelor paper was devoted to exploring medieval women’s religious literature. Women’s possibilities to express their religious ideas were scarce in medieval Europe, but a slight opportunity to become vocal was given to women with the rise of mysticism. The goal of the paper was to explore how God is portrayed in the work of Julian of Norwich ‘Revelations of Divine Love’ and in the work of Margery Kempe ‘The Book of Margery Kempe’. The research was based on descriptive, historical, biographical, and comparative research methods. The study has revealed that Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe employ the same domains to describe God. However, using the same domains does not imply the same ideas about God. The detailed analysis has shown that Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe perceived God differently.
