Mūsdienu garīgums. Santjago ceļa pieredzes

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Mūsdienu garīgums. Santjago ceļa pieredzes” tiek pētīts, kā svētceļnieki piedzīvo Santjago ceļu. Pētījuma mērķis ir aprakstīt, kā tiek skaidrots un piedzīvots Santjago ceļa gars/garīgums un kas svētceļniekiem liek dēvēt Santjago ceļa veikšanu par vienreizēju un īpašu dzīves pieredzi, ņemot vērā to, ka „mūsdienu svētceļniekam” reliģiskā piederība nav svarīga. Darbā aprakstītie Santjago ceļa aspekti ir: atrautība, Santjago ceļa organizatoriskā struktūra, kopība svētceļnieku starpā. Darbā atklājas, ka Santjago ceļa garīgums tiek skaidrots tajā, ka svētceļnieki svētceļojumu saprot un piedzīvo kā Ceļu uz sevi.

The paper „Contemporary Spirituality. Experiences on the Way of Saint James” researches the way pilgrims experience the Way of Saint James. The purpose of the research is to explore how pilgrims describe and experience the spirit/spirituality of the Way of Saint James and what makes pilgrims to call it a unique and special life experience. However, the religious possession of the „contemporary pilgrim” is not important. The aspects of the Way of Saint James described in this paper are: detachment, the organizational structure of the Way, and feeling of community (the shared journey) between the pilgrims. The paper reveals that the spirituality of The Way of Saint James is found in how the pilgrims see and experience the pilgrimage as the Way to oneself.
