Abstract

Dialoga žanra teksti sengrieėu prozā: lingvostilistiskais aspekts Promocijas darbs veltīts sengrieėu dialoga kā nozīmīga antīkās prozas žanra būtisko valodas kvalitāšu izpētei. Darba mērėis ir, balstoties uz salīdzinošu triju ievērojamāko autoru (Platona, Ksenofonta, Lūkiāna) tekstu lingvistiskās struktūras izpēti visos valodas līmeĦos, kā arī stila aspektā, noskaidrot sengrieėu dialoga žanra izteiksmes specifiku. Tiek izsekots sengrieėu dialoga žanra valodas attīstības galvenajām tendencēm un konstatēts dialoga žanra valodai raksturīgs laika gaitā iedibinātu lingvistisko iezīmju kopums, kas balstīts dialoăiskas komunikācijas pamatprincipos un atklājas visos teksta struktūras līmeĦos, sākot ar kompozicionālo uzbūvi un beidzot ar atsevišėiem elementiem. Izvērtējot dialoga žanra valodas stabilās raksturiezīmes, vienlaikus pētījumā uz to fona tiek iezīmētas arī katra autora (apakšžanra) tekstu īpatnības.

Dialogue Genre Texts in Ancient Greek Prose: Linguostylistic Aspect Doctoral thesis deals with the study of essential linguistic features of the Ancient Greek dialogue as an important ancient prose genre. The goal of the thesis is to disclose the specific linguistic characteristics of the genre of Ancient Greek dialogue on the basis of comparative analysis of the linguistic structure (on all levels as well as in style) of the texts of three most prominent authors (Plato, Xenophon, Lucian). The present thesis traces the general tendencies of the development of the language of Ancient Greek dialogue and states the set of the linguistic features characteristic to the dialogue genre language. The characteristics are based on the principles of dialogical communication and they are found on all the levels of text structure from compositional formation up to particular elements. By evaluating the constant linguistic features of the dialogue genre simultaneously peculiarities of each author’s (subgenre’s) texts have been marked out in the study.
