Abstract
Maģistra darba ―STRATĒĢISKĀ VADĪBA PĀREJĀ UZ FAKTISKO VALSTS VALODAS LIETOJUMU MAZĀKUMTAUTĪBU SKOLĀS LATVIJĀ‖ mērķis ir izpētīt stratēģisko vadību pārejai uz valsts valodas lietojumu mazākumtautību vispārizglītojošās skolās Latvijā. Maģistra darbā tiek teorētiski un empīriski pētīts kā faktiski notiek pāreja uz valsts valodas lietojumu mazākumtautību vispārizglītojošās skolās Latvijā. Teorētiskā analīze sniedz ieskatu par to, kas ir stratēģijas un stratēģiskās vadības jēdziens, stratēģiskās vadības nozīme organizācijā, valodas rīcībpolitika izglītībā gan Latvijā, gan ārzemēs. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj pārejas procesa izaicinājumus un nepieciešamo atbalstu, vecāku iesaistes nozīmi un papildus valodes apguves nepieciešamību. Maģistra darba rezultātā tiek izstrādāti ieteikumi skolu vadībai, lai veicinātu veiksmīgāku pāreju uz valsts valodas lietojumu mazākumtautību skolās. Darbs ir 73 lappušu garš un ietver 6 tabulas, 10 attēlus, 76 literatūras avotus un 2 pielikumus.
The master’s thesis ―STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN THE TRANSITION TO ACTUAL USE OF THE STATE LANGUAGE IN MINORITY SCHOOLS IN LATVIA‖ aims to investigate strategic management in the transition to the use of the state language in minority general education schools in Latvia. The thesis provides both a theoretical and empirical study on how the transition to state language use actually takes place in minority general education schools. The theoretical analysis offers insights into the concepts of strategy and strategic management, the significance of strategic management within organizations, and language policy in education in Latvia and abroad. The research findings reveal the challenges of the transition process, the essential support needed, the importance of parental involvement, and the necessity for additional language acquisition support. As a result, the thesis proposes recommendations for school leadership to foster a more effective transition to state language use in minority schools. The thesis is 73 pages long and includes 6 tables, 10 images, 76 references, and 2 appendices.
