Abstract

Maģistra darba „Iedzīvotāju telpiskā diferenciācija Rīgas apkaimēs pēc mājās lietotās valodas” mērķis ir izpētīt Rīgai raksturīgās iedzīvotāju telpiskās diferenciācijas iezīmes pēc mājās lietotās valodas, izmantojot pieejamos datus un pielietojot datu apstrādes un analīzes metodes. Galvenie jautājumi maģistra darba teorētiskajā daļā saistīti iedzīvotāju telpiskās diferenciācijas un segregācijas izpēti. Pētījuma rezultātā tika raksturotas konstatētās iedzīvotāju diferenciācijas un segregācijas telpiskās izpausmes un likumsakarības, novērtēts to līmenis Rīgā pēc mājās lietotās valodas.

The aim of Master's thesis “Socio-spatial differentiation by language used at home in the neighbourhoods in Riga” is to explore Riga's characteristic population spatial differentiation features by the language used at home using the available data and data processing and analysis methods. The main issues in the theoretical part of the Master's thesis are related to study population differentiation and spatial segregation. The study describes the observed population differentiation and spatial segregation of expression and regularities evaluating their level in Riga after the language spoken at home.
