PIETAS Vergilija „Eneidā ”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Pietas Vergilija Eneidā”. Ievērojot to, ka pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt galvenā tēla pietas, darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota pirms - Augusta laika izpratne par jēdzienu pietas gan antīko autoru darbos, gan arī mūsdienu zinātnieku pētījumos. Lai izprastu Vergilija nostāju Augusta laikmetā, tiek dots vispārējs ieskats par imperatora ideoloģiskajām reformām un to realizāciju. Darba praktiskajā daļā tiek pētīts, kā Vergilijs atklāj Eneja pietas pret ģimeni, dieviem un valsti. Uz šo morālo vērtību fona tiek arī analizēta iespējamā lojalitātes saikne starp valdnieku un viņa sekotājiem. Domājams, ka Augusta laikā jēdzienam pietas radusies jauna papildnozīme līdzās jau zināmajām, pateicoties Vergilija eposam, kas parāda šo īpašo saikni starp valdnieku un viņa atbalstītājiem. The theme of the bachelor paper is ” Pietas in Vergil's Aeneid”. Since the object of the research is to discover the pietas of the central character, an insight is given into the understanding of the notion the Augustan age. On the basis of the views expressed by ancient authors, as well as modern scientists. To understand the role of Vergil in Augustan age, there is given a general description of the ideology of the emperor and its realization. The practical part of the paper covers the analysis of how Vergil presented the pietas of Aeneas in relation to his family, gods and fatherland. In the contest of these moral values the potential loyalty of the poet to the governor is analysed. In the age of Augustus the concept pietas derived naw connotation, due to Vergil's epic poem showing a particular link between ruler and his followers.
