The study considers the construction of landscape in the short-story cycle «The Hunter's Sketches» by I. S. Turgenev. The author aims to consider fundamental to the study of the concepts associated with the mapping of the natural world and its role in literary texts, to find all the descriptions of scenery in a series of I.S. Turgenev stories, to classify the selected material, as well as to analyze and synthesize the results of his study. The study intends for specialists and persons, who are interested in the matter.
