Kompozītie epiteti kā komisma elements Aristofana komēdijās

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Kompozītie epiteti kā komisma elements Aristofana komēdijās” mērķis ir izpētīt un parādīt, vai un kādā veidā kompozītie epiteti rada komismu. Tēmas izpētē tiek izmantots teorētiskais materiāls gan no antīkajiem autoriem (Aristotelis, Kvintiliāns, Longīns un Hermogēns), gan arī no mūsdienu zinātniekiem (E. V. Hendlijs, K. Valaks, N. Dž. Lovs, V. Raskins un S. Atardo, E. Segāls, D. Bolingers, H. V. Smits), kā arī vārdnīcas (svešvārdu skaidrojošā, sengrieķu – krievu) un oriģinālteksts Aristofana komēdijās. Pētījums tika veikts, analizējot teksta materiālu 3 Aristofana komēdijās: „Vardes”, „Mākoņi” un „Līsistrate”. Kopā tika atrasti un iztirzāti 53 komismu veidojoši kompozītie epiteti. Šāds skaits, kā arī epitetu daudzveidība pierāda, ka kompozītie epiteti var būt un tiešām ir kā komisma elements Aristofana komēdijās. The object of this bachelor’s thesis „Composite Epithets as an Element of Comicality in Aristophanes' Comedies” is to explore and show whether and how composite epithets produce comism. In exploring process there had been used a theoretical material of ancient authors (Aristotle, Quintilian, Longines and Hermogenes) and modern scientists too (E. W. Handley, K. Valakas, N. J. Lowe, V. Raskin and S. Attardo, E. Segal, D. Bolinger, H. W. Smyth) also dictionaries (dictionary of foreign words, ancient greek – russian) and original text in Aristophane’s comedies. Research was made by analising text in 3 Aristophane’s comedies: „Frogs”, „Clouds” and „Lysistrata”. In general there were found 53 epithets, which form comism. This amount of epithets and their variety demostrate that composite epithets can be (and they really are) an element of comism in Aristophane’s comedies.
