Alūksnes evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas un draudzes vēsture (1594–1905)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt un raksturot Alūksnes (Marienburg) evaņģēliski luteriskās draudzes vēsturi no 1594. līdz 1905. gadam, iekļaujot to Vidzemes kultūras vēstures kontekstā. Pētnieciskais darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Tajās aplūkoti ev.luteriskās ticības pirmsākumi Alūksnes draudzē, baznīcas ēku izmaiņas gadsimtu gaitā, kā arī pašas draudzes attīstības gaita no 16. gs. beigām līdz 1905. gadam Vidzemes novada politisko, sociālo un ekonomisko procesu kontekstā. Tajā tiek apskatīta Alūksnes draudzes mācītāju darbība, atsevišķā nodaļā izdalīts tās ievērojamākais mācītājs E. Gliks (1652 – 1705), aplūkots dievbijības līmenis draudzē. Uzmanība tiek pievērsta arī dažādiem sociāliem jautājumiem. Šim pētījumam ir reģionāla nozīme. Tas parāda konkrētā apgabala attīstību un īpatnības gadsimtu gaitā un arī Vidzemes vēstures procesu ietekmi uz tiem.

This bachelor paper analyzes the history of Alūksne (Marienburg) Ev. lutheran parish and its buildings from year 1594 to year 1905 in the context of Livland cultural history. The research paper consists of four chapters, describing the beginnings of Ev. lutheran faith in Alūksne parish, changes in church buildings during the time period, and the development of the parish from the end of 16th century until the events of year 1905 in the context of political, social and economic processes in Vidzeme. It reviews the activities of the pastors in Alūksne parish, analyzing in a separate chapter its most famous pastor – Ernst GlŅck (1652 – 1705), and reviewing the religious changes during the time. Different social questions are reviewed as well. This research is of regional scope. It describes the development and peculiarities of the specific area of Alūksne parish during these centuries, and the local influence of larger processes happening in and around Livland.
