Arheoloģijas pieminekļi Ogres rajonā

Abstract

Ogres rajonā notikuši plaši arheoloģiski izrakumi, periodiski veiktas apzināšanas ekspedīcijas, tomēr šo darbu rezultāti nav tikuši apkopoti, nav tapis pētījums, kas aptvertu visu teritoriju kopumā un raksturotu tajā esošos arheoloģijas pieminekļus Bakalaura darbā „Ogres rajona arheoloģijas pieminekļi” apzināta, apkopota un sistematizēta informācija par 94 šajā teritorijā zināmajiem pieminekļiem – pilskalniem, apmetnēm, senkapiem un kulta vietām. Izmantojot zinātniskās publikācijas un arhīvu materiālus, noskaidrota pieminekļu piederība konkrētam tipam, mēģināts noteikt to hronoloģiskās robežas, raksturots izvietojums rajonā un saglabāšanās pakāpe. Sniegts pārskata arī par arheoloģisko izpēti un izdarītajiem secinājumiem. Darba rezultā gūts priekšstats par teritorijas vēsturisko attīstību plašā periodā no vēlā paleolīta līdz jauno laiku sākumam.

Extensive archeological excavations have taken place in the Ogre district and periodical preliminary expeditions have been carried out. However, the results of the said work have not been summarized and there is no research done that would cover all the territory in general and characterize the archeological monuments existing in it. Information on 94 monuments situated in the area, including castle mounds, settlements, ancient burial grounds and cult places, has been studied, aggregated and systemized in the Bachelor’s research paper “The Archeological Monuments in the Ogre District”. On the basis of scientific publications and archive materials, the belonging of the monuments to a definite type has been established, an attempt to determine their chronological borders has been made and their location and degree of preservation have been characterized. A survey about the archeological study and conclusions has been offered. The research work has resulted in a concept about the historical development of the territory during a vast period of time, starting from late paleolith to the beginning of the new age.
