Tikumiskā zināšana un vara Platona darbā "Valsts".

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot zināšanas un varas saistību Platona politiskajā filosofijā, galvenokārt pievēršoties darbam Valsts. Lai saprastu, kā un kāpēc Platona politiskā un psiholoģiskā hierarhija tiek veidota pēc zināšanas kritērija, darba ietvaros tiks apskatīts: (1) Sokrata ētikas pamatnostādnes kā problemātikas uzstādījums; (2) Platona izvērstā paideia kā (a) audzināšana caur skaistā/labā dialektisko vienību, (b) audzināšana, izmantojot mimēzes izpratni; (3) filosofu audzināšana; (4) filosofi-valdnieki un valstiskas reformas; kā arī (5) valsts uzbūves un funkcionēšanas izpratne caur Platona lietotajām analoģijām un taisnīguma meklējumiem darbā Valsts. The aim of master thesis is to reveal the connection between knowledge and [political] power in Plato’s political philosophy mainly focusing on the work Republic. To understand how and why Plato’s political hierarchy is built on a criterion of knowledge this work will discuss: (1) the basic ethical guidelines of Socrates as a beginning of Plato’s philosophy; (2) Plato’s insight in paideia (a) as an education through the dialectical unit of the beautiful and the good and (b) as an education using understanding of the nature of mimesis; (3) the education of philosophers; (4) philospher kings and governmental reforms and (5) the understanding of state’s stucture and functioning through analogies used by Plato and through his search for justice in the Republic.
