| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darba mērķis ir daudzpusīgi analizēt Latvijas teritorijā atrastās kaula un raga ķemmes kā arī citus ar tām saistāmus atradumus, tiecoties pēc dažāda rakstura secinājumiem (amatnieciskiem, tirdznieciskiem, sociāliem).
Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām: 1. Dzelzs laikmeta kaula un raga ķemmes Latvijā kā arheoloģisks avots; 2. Kaula un raga ķemmju izgatavošana; amatniecības problemātika; 3. Kaula un raga ķemmju vieta un nozīme dzelzs laikmeta sabiedrībā.
Pētījuma rezultātā gūtas vairākas jaunas atziņas un secinājumi par Latvijas teritorijas dzelzs laikmeta kaula un raga ķemmēm kā attiecīgā laika kultūras sastāvdaļu. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the master`s thesis is to analyze bone and antler combs, found in the territory of Latvia, and also other finds connected to combs, while moving towards to diverse conclusions (craft, trade, social questions).
Master`s thesis consists of three chapters: 1. Iron Age bone and antler combs in Latvia as an archaeological source; 2. Crafting of bone and antler combs; craft as a social concept; 3. Meaning of bone and antler combs for an Iron Age society.
Results of the research are several new discoveries and conclusions of bone and antler combs as a part of their contemporary culture. | en_US |
