Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir Ludzas apriņķa kultūras dzīve 20.gadsimta 20.- 30. gados. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt Ludzas apriņķa kultūras dzīvi un ar to saistītās norises 20. gadsimta 20.- 30. gados. Darbā tiek sniegtas ziņas par Latgales novada galvenajām kultūras dzīves norisēm un to ietekmējošiem faktoriem. Sniegta informācija par Ludzas apriņķa kultūras dzīves attīstības gaitu, tuvāk apskatot aizsargu pulka darbību un sabiedrisko organizāciju nozīmi kultūras dzīves organizēšanā, kā arī noskaidrotas ārpusskolas aktivitātes, kas veicināja kultūras līmeņa paaugstināšanu Ludzas apriņķa iedzīvotāju vidū. Starpkaru periodā Latgalē attīstījās jauni kultūras procesi. Ludzas apriņķa teritorijā tika dibinātas kultūras un izglītības veicināšanas biedrības. Nozīmīgu vietu kultūras dzīves organizēšanā apriņķī ieņēma aizsargu pulks. Ikvienai kultūrai piemīt savas īpatnības, kas padara to unikālu, to vislabāk parāda kultūras dzīves attīstības procesi. Lielo kultūras centru attālums Latgales iedzīvotājiem lika pašiem veidot savu kultūras dzīvi, kas tika balstīta uz lokālām tradīcijām un vietējo iedzīvotāju entuziasmu.

The theme of this Master Thesis is the cultural life in Ludza district in the 1920s and 1930s. The goal of this paper is to investigate the cultural life of Ludza district and processes connected with it in the 1920s and 1930s. This paper provides information about the cultural events of Latgale region and the factors that affected them. Information about the development of the cultural life of Ludza district is offered by turning attention to the operation of the paramilitary regiment and the role of social organizations in structuring the cultural life. This paper also determines the extracurricular activities that furthered improvement of the cultural level among the citizens of Ludza district. In the interwar period, new cultural processes developed in Latgale. Associations of cultural and educational promotion were formed in the territory of Ludza district. A significant role in organizing the cultural life of the district was played by the paramilitary regiment. Every culture has specific features that make it unique, and it is best revealed through the development processes of the cultural life. The distance from the greatest cultural centres made the people of Latgale organize their own cultural life based on the local traditions and the enthusiasm of the local people.
