Darbs ir veltīts dzimumu lomu atspoguļojumam vēlās gotikas mākslā, tas hronoloģiski ietver laika posmu no 13 – 15 gs., kas principā atbilst vēlajiem viduslaikiem.
Mākslas darbi ir unikāls avots, kas skatītāju padara par aculiecinieku konkrētā laikmeta norisēm un izpausmēm. Tās sniedz informāciju, kādu nav iespējams atrast cita veida avotos.
Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot vēlo viduslaiku sabiedrībā pastāvošās vīriešu un sieviešu lomas, kādas tās atklājās ikonogrāfiskajos avotos, un salīdzinot tās ar vēstures un socioloģijas literatūrā pieejamo informāciju, iegūt priekšstatu par atspoguļojumā ietverto vēstījumu.
Darba uzdevumi vērsti uz vīriešu un sieviešu atspoguļojuma nianšu – attēlotā sižeta, atribūtikas un konteksta noskaidrojumu, balstoties uz vēlās gotikas mākslu, kā arī historiogrāfijas un socioloģijas literatūras apzināšanu.
Darbs ir sadalīts divās nodaļās, no kurām pirmā aplūko dižciltīgo slāņu dzimumu lomu atspoguļojumus. Te tiek ietverti monarhi un pārējie dižciltīgie. Otrā nodaļa apskata nedižciltīgos sabiedrības pārstāvjus – pilsētniekus un zemniekus.
Galvenie darba secinājumi vēsta, ka dzimumu lomu atspoguļojums vislielākā mērā saskan ar kristīgajiem ideāliem, patriarhālajā sabiedrībā valdošās hierarhijas un piederības konkrētam slānim, turklāt ļauj izprast nianses, kas saistītas ar dzimumu lomu atspoguļojumu. This paper is devoted to the reflection of genders’ roles in the late gothic art. It chronologically includes period from 13th to 15th centuries and in the main it conforms to Late Middle Ages.
Artistic works are unique sources which makes the spectator eyewitness the concrete period’s processes and expressions. They give information that cannot be found in any other sources.
The task of this research is to clarify those men and women roles which existed in the Late Middle Ages who appeared thru iconographical sources. And comparing them with historiography and sociological literature get the view about notification that included in reflection.
The tasks of the work are directed to clarifying depicted subject paraphernalia and context of men and women reflection by building upon late gothic art and by studying historiography and sociological literature.
This research is structured in two parts. The first part deals with reflection of genders’ roles of nobleman – it includes monarchs’ and the rest of gently birthed. Second chapter deals with non highborn members of society – dwellers of cities and countryside.
The general conclusions signify that reflection of genders’ roles to a highest degree agrees with ideals of Christianity, hierarchy which were ruling patriarchal society and belonging on concrete social group furthermore it lets to realize the twists and turns which are related to reflection of genders’ roles.
