Hernhūtiešu brāļu draudze Latvijā starpkaru periodā.

Abstract

Darba nosaukums ir „Hernhūtiešu Brāļu draudze Latvijā starpkaru periodā”. Hernhūtiešu Brāļu draudze savu uzplaukumu piedzīvoja 18.gs. trīsdesmitajos gados, un 19. gs. 20. – 50. gados, kad tā kļuva par populāru Vidzemes zemnieku sabiedrisku kustību. Starpkaru periodā Brāļu draudzes kustība bija tendēta uz savu saiešanu namu atgūšanu, to restaurēšanu un identitātes nostiprināšanu. Hernhūtiešu Brāļu draudzes darbības posmu no 1929. gada līdz 1935. gadam var saukt par „trešajiem ziedu laikiem”, jo tā uz mirkli piedzīvoja kustības atdzimšanu. Taču pieaugot savstarpējām nesaskaņām un ķildām Brāļu draudzes popularitāte strauji kritās un jau 1939. gadā Brāļu draudze cīnījās par pastāvēšanu. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt Brāļu draudzes dibināšanas posmus, tādēļ darbā tika apskatīts Brāļu draudzes juridiskā statusa noformēšanas process, raksturotas Brāļu draudzes reliģiskās, saimnieciskās un organizatoriskās aktivitātes.

The title of the Bachelor’s paper is Hernhuter Moravian Church in Latvia in Interwar Period. Moravian church experienced its peak in 1730s, and in 19.Century in Period 1820. – 1850, when it became a popular social movement for peasants of Vidzeme. During interwar period there was a tendency of regaining and reconstruction Hernhuters’ meetinghouses, as well as consolidation of their identity. The period between 1929 and 1935 can be named the third highday of Hernhuter Moravian church, as it experienced rebirth of the movement. However, as mutual disagreements and quarrels arose, the popularity of Hernhuters rapidly fell and in 1939 they were fighting for existence. The Aim of this Paper is to study the stages of establishing Hernhuter Moravian Church, therefore process of official registration of Hernhuter Moravian Church was studied and its religious, economic and managerial activities were described.
