Prāta un ticības attiecības Akvīnas Toma filozofijā: Dieva esamības pierādījumi un to mūsdienu versijas

Abstract

Mana darba nosaukums ir „Prāta un ticības attiecības Akvīnas Toma filozofijā: Dieva eksistences pierādījumi un to mūsdienu versijas”. Vadoties pēc Akvīnas Toma uzskatiem, Dieva eksistenci ir iespējams pierādīt ar prāta palīdzību, taču arī ticība šeit ir neiztrūkstoša. Saistība starp prātu un ticību ir īpaši svarīgs jautājums Akvīnieša filozofijā, tomēr šis jautājums nevar tiks skatīts bez Dieva eksistences pierādījuma. Zināmākais ir Akvīnas Toma piecu ceļu Dieva pierādījums, tāpēc šajā darbā tas tiek īpaši uzsvērts. Šis pierādījums ir saistīts ar ontoloģisko pierādījumu, kam ir sena vēsture, tāpēc apskatīts tiek arī kalām pierādījums, kurš tiek izmantots islāma tradīcijā. Kenterberijas Anselms ir pirmais filozofs, kurš šādu argumentu izmantoja, tāpēc darbā aprakstīti arī šī domātāja atzinumi. Tā kā Akvīnas Toms ir viens no ievērojamākajiem 13.gs domātājiem, filozofa atziņas ir aktuālās arī mūsdienās. Akvīnieša ietekme uz reliģijas filozofiju ir milzīga, tāpēc darbā aplūkoti arī mūsdienu autoru izteikumi gan par Toma Dieva eksistences pierādījumiem, gan viņa filozofiju kopumā. The title of my work is “Relations between mind and faith in St. Thomas Aquinas philosophy: arguments for the existence of God and their modern versions”. According to Thomas Aquinas, the existence of God can be proved with the help of mind, though faith here should not be lacked either. The connection between mind and faith is especially important question in the philosophy of Aquinas, yet this question should not be examined without the proof of existence of God. The Five Ways proof of God is the most noted one by Thomas Aquinas; this proof has a contiquity with ontological proof. Ontological proof is of old history, that is why the kalām proof, used in the Islamic tradition, is also observed. The opinions of the thinker Anselm of Canterbury are also discussed in the present paper, for he is the first philosopher to ever use the ontological argument. Since Thomas Aquinas is one of the most notable thinkers of the 13th century, his findings are current also in nowadays. The influence of Aquinas on philosophy of religion is enormous; therefore, the present paper looks at the views of contemporary authors on the existence of God according to Thomas and their views on the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas in general.
