Miķeļa Valtera sabiedriski politiskā darbība no 19.gs. 90. līdz 1919.gadam

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir sniegt pārskatu par M. Valtera sabiedrisko un politisko darbību laika posmā no 1897. gada, ko mēs varam uzskatīt par Valtera sabiedrisko aktivitāšu sākumu, līdz 1920. gadam, kad M. Valters pievērsās diplomāta darbam, un darbojās jau pārsvarā ārpus Latvijas Republikas. Starp 19. gs. beigām un 20. gs. sākumu, M. Valters ir veicis izcilu ieguldījumu Latvijas valsts veidošanā un nostiprināšanā. M. Valteru var pamatoti uzskatīt par Latvijas nacionālās politikas pamatlicēju un šīs idejas īstenotāju.

The objective of this work is to provide analysis of the social and political activities of Mr Mikelis Valters, within the period from 1890, which can be considered as a beginning of his political carrier, till 1920,when Mr M. Valters started his carrier of Diplomat. Starting from end of 19th century, till beginning of his carrier of Diplomat in 20-ies of 20th century, he was active defender of national interest of Latvia. He deserves to be called the first who started national policy of Latvia and did great job in order to implement those principles in real life.
