Darbaspēka problēma Latvijas lauksaimniecībā 1934. - 1940. gadā

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot lauksaimniecības darbaspēka problēmas attīstību Latvijā 1934.-1940.gadā. Tādēļ analizēta šīs problēmas izcelšanās un valdības īstenotie pasākumi tās novēršanai. Darbs balstīts uz dažādiem materiāliem: arhīvā atrodamajiem Zemkopības ministrijas un Latvijas Lauksaimniecības kameras fondiem, statistiskajiem un preses materiāliem, kā arī lauksaimniecībai veltīto literatūru. Pētāmajā periodā aktuālas bija rūpes par darbaspēka trūkuma novēršanu. Autors atklāj, ka šīs problēmas galvenā šķautne bija ar laukstrādnieku meklēšanu saistītā algu celšanās. Valdība centās novērst lielas svārstības šai ziņā, tāpēc meklēja dažādus risinājumus, lai nodrošinātu darbaspēka pieejamību: uzlabojot lauku sociālos apstākļus, veicinot mehanizāciju, ievedot ārzemniekus, kā arī tieši regulējot darbaspēka kustību. The object of this study is to investigate the problem of workforce in agriculture of Latvia in years 1934-1940. Accordingly much attention is brought to the causes of it and the acts of government to solve this problem. The study is based on a spectrum of sources: archive documents of Ministry of Agriculture and Chamber of Latvian Agriculture, statistical publications, press and literature dedicated to agriculture. In the given years there were much care to avert a lack of workers in agriculture. The main aspect of this problem was the climbing wages of workers. Government tried to prevent big fluctuations in this matter and therefore made acts to widen the availability of workers: improving the social conditions, promoting mechanization, importing foreigners and finally directly managing the flow of workforce.
