Latviešu sieviete Neatkarības kara laikā Latvijā: sociālā portreta skice (1918-1920)

Abstract

Darbā izpētīts latviešu sievietes juridiskais un sociāli ekonomiskais stāvoklis Latvijas Republikā 1918. – 1920. gadam. Mērķis: izveidot latviešu sievietes sociālā portreta skici Latvijā Neatkarības kara laikā, laika posmā no 1918. – 1920.g. Tika analizēta periodika, kas izdota Latvijā (1918 – 1920) – raksti, kas attēloja sievietes ikdienas dzīvi kara laikā. Pētāmā laika posma specifikas izpratnei izmantota historiogrāfija, kā arī balstoties uz statistikas dokumentiem, analizēts sieviešu demogrāfiskais stāvoklis. Noskaidrots, kāds bija sieviešu sociālekonomiskais stāvoklis Neatkarības kara laikā Latvijas Republikā un kā karš ietekmēja sieviešu ikdienas dzīvi.

The research paper deals with judicial and economic status of women in the Republic of Latvia during 1918 - 1920. The aim of the research paper: to create an image of social portrait of a woman in Latvia during the Latvian War of Independence during 1918 - 1920. The periodicals which were published in Latvia (1918 - 1920) were analysed, particularly, the articles describing every day life of women during the war. Historiography was adapted in order to conceive the specifics of the time period of the research carried, in addition depographics of women was analysed based on documents on statistics. The social and economic status of women in the time of Latvian War of Independence is clarified as well as the impact of the war on every day life of women.
