Vēsturnieki par ieroču SS divīziju cīņām padomju - vācu frontē 1943. gadā

Abstract

Mana bakalaura darba tēma ir „Vēsturnieki par ieroču SS divīziju cīņām padomju – vācu frontē”. Darbā tiks analizēti krievu un rietumu vēsturnieku pētījumi par ieroču SS (Waffen SS) divīziju cīņām divās ļoti nozīmīgās Austrumu frontes kaujās, kuras norisinājās 1943. gadā: tā sauktajā trešajā Harkovas kaujā (janvāris – marts) un Kurskas kaujā. Ieroču SS divīziju loma abās šajās kaujās vēl joprojām ir ļoti nozīmīga un iecienīta tēma. Par to pēdējos gados ir publicēti daudzi vēsturnieku darbi, lai gan vairākas problēmas ne tuvu nav atrisinātas. Darba mērķis ir: noteikt, kādiem ieroču SS divīziju cīņu aspektiem šajās kaujās historiogrāfijā ir pievērsta lielākā uzmanība. Savukārt darba uzdevumi ir: atsegt un izanalizēt krievu un rietumu vēsturnieku viedokļus par šiem aspektiem, fiksējot kopīgo un atšķirīgo. Visumā jāatzīmē, ka ieroču SS divīzijām abās šajās kaujās bija ļoti nozīmīga loma – to neapstrīdami apliecina historiogrāfijā sniegtā informācija Tomēr vēsturnieku nostāja atšķiras gan par SS divīziju lomu minētajās kaujās, gan arī par to sastāvu un zaudējumiem. Ļoti būtisks daudzu autoru pētījumu trūkums ir atsauču neesamība, kas apgrūtina verifikāciju. Visi šie trūkumi liecina, ka vēsturniekiem, kuri turpmāk pētīs ieroču SS divīziju cīņas Harkovas un Kurskas kaujā, daudz kas būs vēl jānoskaidro, padziļināti pētot arhīvu dokumentus.

The theme of my bachelor paper is “Historians on the fights of Waffen SS divisions in Soviet – German front”. The paper will analyze the researches of Russian and Western historians on battles of Waffen SS divisions in two very important fights of the Eastern Front, which took place in the 1943: the so-called third Battle of Kharkov (January – March) and the Battle of Kursk. The role of Waffen SS divisions in both battles is still very important and popular topic. In the last few years many works of historians have been published on that, although a number of problems have not been solved. The goal of the paper is: to determine to what aspects of fights of Waffen SS divisions in these battles the historiography has paid greater attention. In turn the paper’s tasks are: to disclose and analyze Russian and western historians' views on these aspects by recording the differences and similarities. In general, it should be noted that the Waffen SS divisions in both battles had a very important role – the information provided in the historiography unarguablely confirms it. However, the position of historians differs both on the SS division's role in mentioned battles, and also on their composition and losses. A major lack of researches made by many authors is the absence of references, which complicates the verification. All of these deficiencies suggest that historians who will study the fights of Waffen SS divisions in the Battle of Kursk and Kharkov in the future, a lot still will be clarified by researching archival documents deeply.
