Latvijas Universitātes latviešu studentu un studenšu korporāciju heraldiskā simbolika 20.gs. 20.-30.gadi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Latvijas Universitātes latviešu studentu un studenšu korporāciju heraldiskā simbolikā 20.gs. 20. – 30.gados”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāda ir bijusi un kā ir veidojusies Prezidiju konventā un Studenšu prezidiju konventā ietilpstošo latviešu studentu un studenšu korporāciju heraldiskā simbolika 20.gs. 20. – 30.gados., apzinot arī šobrīd pastāvošo latviešu studentu un studenšu korporāciju heraldiskās simbolikas vēsturi, to simbolu un krāsu izpratni minētajā laika posmā. Latviešu studentu un studenšu korporācijām viena no nozīmīgākajām regālijām ir to ģerboņi, kuri Latvijas heraldikas vēsturē ir interesanti ar faktu, ka to izstrādes procesu nekontrolēja Latvijas heraldiskā komiteja (tā rezultātā ģerboņi ir heraldiski nekorekti) un latviešu studentu un studenšu korporācijas bijušas vienīgās privātās organizācijas, kas nodarbojās ar ģerboņu izstrādi pētījumā noteiktajās hronoloģiskajās robežās. Ģerboņos izmantotas visas galvenās sastāvdaļas, kas paredzētas pēc heraldikas likumiem un hronoloģiskā perioda noteicošās iezīmes – tautiskie elementi, tomēr ģerboņiem piemīt vispārējās korporāciju heraldikas raksturīgās iezīmes – cirķeļi, rapieri un trikolors.

The title of the bachelor paper is „Heraldic Symbolism of Latvian Student Fraternities of University of Latvia in 20ies – 30ies of the 20th Century”. The aim of the bachelor paper is to inquire the heraldic symbolism and it’s development of Latvian student (both - male and female) fraternities included in the Convents of Presidium (Prezidiju konvents and Studenšu Prezidiju konvents) in 20’s – 30’s of 20th century, recognising the history of heraldic symbolism, the perception of symbols and colours in the time period mentioned above. One of the most important regalia of Latvian student fraternities is their coat of arms and in heraldic history of Latvia development process of fraternities coat of arms are interesting of the fact that it was not controlled by Heraldic committee of Latvia (that led to heraldic inaccuracies) and the fraternities were the only private organizations that engaged in the creation of coats of arms in the chronological period. Main components determined in heraldic laws and characteristic marks of the era – national elements, are used in the fraternities coats of arms, however coats of arms contains several distinctive features of student fraternities heraldry - zirkel, rapier and tricolours.
