1990.gada 4.maija Neatkarības deklarācija: priekšvēsture, izstrāde un pieņemšana

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir 1990.gada 4.maija Neatkarības deklarācija: priekšvēsture, izstrāde un pieņemšana. 4.maija deklarācija bija latviešu tautas nacionālās atmodas kulminācija, kas iezīmēja pārejas periodu līdz pilnīgai Latvijas neatkarības atjaunošanai. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt 4.maija deklarācijas izstrādes procesu un tās pieņemšanu LPSR Augstākajā Padomē, aplūkojot tās īsu priekšvēsturi un balstoties uz nepublicētiem, publicētiem avotiem, kā arī literatūru. Pētījumu rezultātā jāsecina, ka deklarācijas projekta izstrāde notika LTF izveidotajā darba grupā. Rezultāti tika apspriesti LTF frakcijā, bez sabiedrības līdzdalības. Izstrādes laikā tika ņemti vērā reālpolitiskie apsvērumi, kuri balstījās uz PSRS atšķirīgo reakciju pret Lietuvas radikālo un Igaunijas mērenāko neatkarības atjaunošanu.

The theme of the Bachelor Paper is Independence Declaration of May 4, 1990: Pre-history, Elaboration and Adoption. Independence Declaration of May 4 was the peak of the national awakening of the Latvian people, which marked a transition period to the complete restoration of independent Latvia. The aim of the Bachelor Paper is to study the elaboration of Declaration of May 4 and its adoption in the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR, considering its pre-history based on non-published, as well as published materials and literature. It was concluded that the elaboration of the Declaration was organized within a working party established by the Popular Front of Latvia (PFL). The results were discussed in a PFL faction, which were kept in secret from the people of Latvia. The USSR displayed different reactions to the radical Lithuanian and more moderate Estonian Independence declaration which was taken into consideration when elaborating on the Independence Declaration of May 4.
