Neolīta plastika Latvijas teritorijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Neolīta plastika Latvijas teritorijā” mērķis ir, analizējot Latvijas teritorijā atrastos plastiskās mākslas paraugus, to atrašanas vietu un kontekstu, noteikt plastikas funkcionālo nozīmi un pielietojumu neolīta laikmeta sabiedrībā. Darbā kā galvenais pētniecības avots tika izmantots pats mākslas priekšmets. Artefakti glabājas Latvijas Nacionālā vēstures muzeja Arheoloģijas nodaļas krājumā, sakārtoti kolekcijās. Šajā darbā tika aplūkoti neolīta laikmeta mākslas paraugi, veidoti no organiskām vielām kā koks, kauls, rags un dzintars un neorganiskām vielām kā māls. Artefakti tika iedalīti pēc tematikas - cilvēku (antropomorfajos) un dzīvnieku (zoomorfajos) atveidojumos - un analizēti pēc to stilistiskajām iezīmēm kontekstā ar atrašanas vietu. Darba beigās tika izteikti secinājumi par neolīta laikmeta plastikas iespējamo pielietojumu kultiskajās darbībās un to lomu akmens laikmeta sabiedrībā kopumā.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Neolithic Figurines in the Territory of Latvia" is, by analyzing the samples of plastic art found in the territory of Latvia, their location and founding and the context of archaeological materials, to define the functional meaning of the art and the usage of it in the society of Neolithic. The piece of art was used as the primary source of the research in this paper. Artifacts are stored at the Department of Archaeology in the History Museum of Latvia and sorted into collections. The samples of art made of organic substances such as wood, bone, antler and amber and non-organic matter such as clay were looked at in this paper. Artifacts were divided into representations of humans (anthropomorphic) and animals (zoomorphic). They were analyzed by their stylistic features in the context of the location of the founding. At the end of the paper, there were drawn conclusions on the possible use of plastic art during rituals and their role in the Stone Age society in general.
