Laika pieredzējuma problēma: Augustīns un Bergsons

Abstract

Galvenā darbā aplūkotā problēma ir indivīda eksistences pašizpratne laika piedzīvošanas procesā. Tā mērķis ir pārbaudīt darba autora izvirzītās hipotēzes pamatotību par cilvēka nespēju pieredzēt laiku kā vienotu fenomenu un no šī apstākļa izrietošo duālisma problēmu. Tomēr par hipotēzes apstiprināšanu vai apgāšanu vēl būtiskāki ir atzinumi, kas radušies tās pārbaudes procesā. Nozīmīgi ir skatīt laiku saistībā ar cilvēka eksistences problemātiku, tādēļ laiks darbā tiek analizēts kā metafiziska kategorija, līdz ar to atklājot cilvēcisko laika pieredzi – ilgstamību un atmiņas lomu tās konstituēšanā. Par darba teorētisko pamatu galvenokārt izmantota Augustīna, Anrī Bergsona un Plotīna filozofija.

The main problem the research paper deals with is the individual's self-comprehension of existence during the process of time experience. The aim of the paper is to test the validity of the author's self-formulated hypothesis about the human's inability to experience time as an undivided phenomenon and the problem of dualism that follows from this circumstance. However, even more essential than the confirmation or disproval of the hypothesis are the conclusions that emerge from the process of testing it. It is relevant to view time as close to the context of human existence as possible, hence in the paper it is analysed as a metaphysical category, thus revealing the human time experience – duration and the role of memory in its constitution. The theoretical basis of the research paper is created on the philosophical works of Augustine, Henri Bergson, and Plotinus.
