Dance has accompanied people from the beginnings of history and in our times its popularity is growing: in everyday life, at festivals and in the art area. Dance aesthetics explores the philosophical consideration of dance. The aim of this work is to explore the main aspect of dance, human bodily movement, and to consider it as a symbol, that represents human feelings, experiences, including the sense of living itself, and gives also possibilities of recostructing, symbolical creation of the cosmic order – depending on the aims of a dance and the spheres of its appearance: art, communication, social life, sports, ritual.
