Kalevalas kultūrvēsturiskā nozīme 21. gadsimtā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Kalevalas kultūrvēsturiskā nozīme 21. gadsimtā” ir vispārīgs pārskats par somu tautas eposa izpausmēm kultūrā un ikdienā laika posmā no 2000. līdz 2010. gadam. Pētījuma mērķis ir pierādīt, ka Kalevala 21. gadsimtā ir aktuāla. Darba gaitā veikts apskats par eposa nozīmi kopš tā izdošanas brīža 1835. gadā, bet būtiskākā daļa veltīta Kalevalas izpausmēm mūsdienu literatūrā, kino, teātrī un uzņēmējdarbības vidē. Doto tēmu iespējams pētīt tālāk, gan paplašinot esošo informāciju, gan sekojot līdzi, kā turpinās eposa izmantošanas attīstība turpmākajos gados, gan salīdzinot to ar citiem darbiem, piemēram, ar latviešu tautas eposu Lāčplēsis.

Bachelor’s paper "The Heritage Value of the Kalevala in the 21st Century" is a general overview of the display of Finnish epic poem in culture and social life in the time period from year 2000 to 2010. The aim of the research is to prove that Kalevala is still a live issue. There is a review of the significance of the epic poem since the day of its first publication in 1835; however, the most significant part of the paper is devoted to the display of Kalevala in literature, cinematography, theatre and business activities. It is possible to examine the issue further by following means: expanding the information, keeping up with the current events on how the use of the epic poem continues, and comparing it to other literary works, for instance, with the Latvian epic poem Lāčplēsis.
