Darbs veltīts Ziemassvētku stāsta izpētei avīzes «Segodnja» («Šodien») lapās 1920. gados. Autora mērķis ir noteikt Ziemassvētku stāsta žanra īpatnības, kā arī noteikt žanra transformācijas literatūras attīstības kontekstā 1920. gados, pētot un nosakot īpatnības un jaunas tendences žanrā. Pētījuma materiāls ir Ziemassvētku stāstu publikācijas avīzes «Segodnja» («Šodien») lapās 1920. gados, kā arī Dostojevska un Ļeskova Ziemassvētku stāsti. Pētījums var būt interesants Latvijas periodikas pētniekiem, kā arī folkloras pētniekiem.

The present paper is devoted to exploring specifies of Christmas tale in Latvian newspaper «Segodnya» (Today) in the 1920-s. The author aims at indicating the features of Christmas tale genre as well as determining transformations of genre according to development of literature in 1920-s, exploring specifies and new movements in this genre. Publicised Christmas tale in newspaper «Segodnya» in 1920-s and Christmas novels by Dostoevsky and Lescov are taken as the material for the research. This research can be of interest for the Latvian periodical print researchers as well as folk literature researchers.
