Terminoloģijas neatbilstība lietošanas praksē (Elektronisko sakaru jomā)

Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir “Terminoloģijas neatbilstība lietošanas praksē” (elektronisko sakaru jomā). Darbā ir analizēta elektronisko sakaru jomas terminoloģija un izzināti terminoloģijas neatbilstības rašanās galvenie iemesli. Kā arī darbā tiek apskatīti terminoloģijas izveides pamatprincipi un tulkošanas stratēģijas, kas nepieciešamas terminoloģijas neatbilstības pārvarēšanai. Diplomdarbs sastāv no teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā ir aplūkota Latvijas terminoloģijas izstrādes vēsture un apkopoti terminoloģijas veidošanas pamatprincipi. Praktiskajā daļā ir analizēta terminoloģijas neatbilstība lietošanas praksē un tās rašanās galvenie iemesli. Noslēgumā attiecīgie ieteikumi tiek sniegti, lai izvairītos no sastaptām problēmām analīzes laikā. Terminoloģijas tulkošanas kvalitāte noteiktā mērā ietekmē tulkošanas procesu, tādēļ ir ļoti būtiski nodrošināt terminoloģijas precīzu tulkojumu. Darbs kopumā ir uzrakstīt uz 40 lapām.

The theme of the present Diploma paper is “Terminology Non-compliance in the Local Context” (in the Field of Electronic Communications). The diploma paper is based on the analysis of the terminology used in the field of electronic communications, and determines the main reasons of terminology non-compliance in the local context. Besides, the paper provides an overview of term formation principles and translation strategies that are used to overcome terminology non-compliance. The diploma paper consists of the theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part the history of terminology work in Latvia is overviewed and term formation principles are summarized. The practical part contains detailed analysis of terminology non-compliance in the local context and its main reasons. In the conclusion of the paper suggestions are offered for correcting mishaps discovered in the process of analysis. The quality of translated terminology to some extent affects translation quality therefore it is of great importance to ensure precise terminology. The amount of the whole diploma paper is on 40 pages.
