Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Romantisma tēmu pētījums Džona Kītsa dzejā” ir veltīts galveno romantisma tēmu, tādu kā daba, skaistums, iztēle, reliģija, nāve un mitoloģija apskatei un izpētei. Darba mērķis ir noteikt kā šīs tēmas atspoguļojas tieši Kītsa dzejā un kā šī autora dzeja, savukārt, ir salīdzināma ar citu romantisma dzejnieku darbiem. Analīze ir veikta balstoties uz Kītsa un citu Romantisma dzejnieku darbiem, kā arī uz biogrāfiskajiem materiāliem un dzejas kritisko analīzi. Darba kopējais mērķis ir pierādīt, ka Džona Kītsa dzejā atspoguļojas visas romantisma literatūras iezīmes.

Bachelor Paper „Exploration of Romantic Themes in John Keats’ Poetry” is dedicated to analysis of Romanticist themes such as nature, beauty, religion, death and mythology. The aim of this paper is to determine how these themes are reflected in the poetry of John Keats and how Keats’ poetry in its turn can be compared with the poetry of other Romantic poets. The analysis is based on the poems of John Keats and other Romantic poems as well also in biographical data and critical analysis of Keats’ poetry. The final aim of this research is to prove that John Keats’ poetry reflects all the elements of Romantic poetry.
