Karalienes Elizabetes I tēls modernajā literatūrā un kino

Abstract

Šis darbs ir mēģinājums izpētīt karalienes Elizabetes I tēlu un personību vēsturē un modernajā beletristikā. Darba mērķis ir noteikt karalienes tēla popularitātes iemeslu pie modernās publikas, noteikt kā viņas tēls tiek atspoguļots literatūrā un filmās. Šī darba zinātniskās izpētes metodes iekļāva sevī dažādu Interneta un literatūras avotu, daiļliteratūras darbu izpēti un analīzi, un trīs filmu, kas attēlo Elizabetes valdīšanas periodu, analīzi. Elizabetes tēlu salīdzinājums darbos: viņas personības un izskata, politisku un pārvaldes iemaņu, un viņas prīvatdzīves attēlojums. Rakstnieki-laikabiedri attēlo viņu kā stipru sievieti, kas bija spējīga uz dižiem politiskiem darbiem un lielu mīlestību. This work is an attempt to study the image and personality of the great English monarch, Queen Elizabeth I, in history and in modern fiction. The purpose of the paper is to establish the reason of the Queen’s popularity among a modern audience, to establish how her image is translated by the authors of literature and film. The research methods for this paper consisted of exploration and analysis of various Internet and literature sources, works of fiction, and analysis of 3 films that showed the period of Elizabeth’s rule. The comparison of Elizabeth’s portrayals in these works included the way her personality and appearance, political and administrative skills and her private life were depicted. Contemporary authors depict her as a strong and powerful female that was capable of great political deeds and great love.
