Darbs ar projektiem angļu valodas stundās jaunākajās klasēs

Abstract

Mūsdienās gandrīz visi angļu valodas skolotāji domā par to, kā radošāk un tajā pašā laikā pilnvērtīgāk un efektīvāk novadīt stundas. Angļu valodas nodarbības pieprasa sadarbību, valodas prasmju apvienošanu un valodas lietošanu. Projektu darbs var izpildīt visus šos nosacījumus. Diplomdarbs tika izstrādāts, lai noskaidrotu projektu nozīmi angļu valodas stundās, lai pierādītu, ka projektu darbs ir efektīvs līdzeklis mācīšanas/mācīšanās procesā. Diplomdarba temats tika izpētīts ne tikai balstoties uz literatūras avotiem, bet arī uz pētījuma rezultātiem. Situāciju izpēte tika izmantota, lai noskaidrotu, vai projektu darbs rada labvēlīgu atmosfēru stundā, vai skolotāji izmanto to savā darbā, un vai projekti ir efektīvs līdzeklis mācīšanas/mācīšanās procesā jaunākajās klasēs. Lai to sasniegtu tika veikti novērojumi, 2 aptaujas, un analizētas skolēnu domas,kas izteiktas intervijās. Pētījuma rezultāti pierādīja, ka projektu darbs ir efektīvs, un tas rada labvēlīgu atmosfēru klasē, bet joprojam ne visi skolotāji saprot tā vērtīgumu.

Nowadays almost all teachers of English think how to make their lessons more creative, interactive, and at the same time more saturated, productive and effective. Cooperative work, integrating of the language skills, use of language are required. All these requirements can be satisfied by project work. The Diploma Paper was written in order to state the role of projects in English lessons, to prove that project work is an effective way of the teaching/learning process. The theme of the Diploma Paper was based not only on the literature sources but also on the results of the research. A case study was used in order to investigate if project work created positive atmosphere, if teachers used projects at school and if project work was an effective way of the teaching/learning process in junior forms. To achieve the goal of the paper 2 questionnaires, observations and pupils’ feedback were used. The results of the research show that project work creates a positive atmosphere in the class, and it is an effective way of the teaching/learning process but still not all teachers understand its value.
