Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 5 nodaļām.
This Bachelor paper is an analysis of Sigulda town polygonometric network using GPS field measurements in 50 existing polygonometric points. The measurements were made with Topcon Hiper GGD GPS receiver using the LATPOS permanent GPS base station network. The obtained data analysis shows displacements of point coordinates in 3 dimensional space allowing to draw conclusions about the overall accuracy and the options of use of the polygonometric network. Using 2 different GPS observation methods and some test measurements the stability of measurements in LATPOS system was evaluated.
Bachelor paper consists of 5 chapters.
The first chapter describes the geodetic networks in Latvia, their classification and the existing situation, as well as the geodetic network of the study area
The second chapter consists of the GPS technology of key deals - GPS structure, the GPS operating principles, measurement methods and possible sources of error.
The third chapter examines the LATPOS permanent GPS base station system structure, applications and measurement accuracy.
The fourth chapter describes the field works, the methods and materials, as well as describing polygonometric network of survey area and GPS measurements, the process and the resulting data-processing process.
In the fifth chapter the results obtained from field measurements are analized and evaluation polygonometric network is done.
Key words: polygonometric network, global positioning system, LATPOS system, real-time measurments, static measurements.
