Kalambūrs un Paradokss Šekspīra „Hamletā”

Abstract

Šī darba temats ir „Kalambūrs un paradokss Šekspīra „Hamletā””. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt kalambūra un paradoksa klātbūtni Šekspīra „Hamletā”, kā arī atklāt to funkciju, nolūku un nozīmi. Rezultāti atklāja, ka kalambūriem, kuri tiek lietoti „Hamletā”, ir vairākas funkcijas, atkarībā no to mērķa un nolūka, un ka kalambūrs ir raksturīga Britu humora iezīme. Turklāt rezultāti parādīja, ka „Hamletu” var uzlūkot kā paradoksu pašu par sevi, jo tas satur vairākus paradoksus dažādos līmeņos. Neizbēgams secinājums ir tas, ka paradoksu klātbūtne „Hamletā” ir saistīta ar kalambūru klātbūtni. Atslēgvārdi: kalambūrs, paradokss, humors, traģēdija, vārdu spēle

The topic of this paper is “Pun and Paradox in Shakespeare’s Hamlet”. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the presence of puns and paradoxes in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, as well as to reveal their function, purpose and meaning. The results revealed that puns, used in Hamlet, have different functions, depending on the purpose and the target, and that the pun is a typical feature of the British humour. Moreover, the results showed that Hamlet itself can be seen as a paradox, as it comprised various types of paradoxes on different levels. The inevitable conclusion is that the presence of paradoxes in Hamlet is related to the presence of puns. Key words: pun, paradox, humour, tragedy, wordplay
