Vārda nozīmes interpretācijas specifika mūsdienu krustvārdu mīklās.

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts tādas vārdu semantikas pētīšanai, kas pasniegta specifiskā formā: krustvārdu mīklu definīciju formā. Darba mērķis ir atklāt iespējamos definīciju reprezentācijas veidus mūsdienu krustvārdu mīklās. Bakalaura darba autors salīdzina meklētā vārda semantikas pasniegšanu krustvārdu mīklās ar vārda semantiku vārdnīcās. Uz atrasto atšķirību bāzes tiek veikta analīze, kas atklāj vārdu nozīmju pasniegšanas specifiku krustvārdu mīklās, kā arī tiek spriests par rasto atškirību iespējamiem iemesliem un par krustvārdu mīklu sastādītāja izvēlēto vārdu nozīmju pasniegšanas veidu. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek izklāstīti pētījuma veikšanai nepieciešamie teorētiskie pamatjautājumi, otrajā daļā tiek veikta analīze. Bakalaura darbs var ieinteresēt lingvistus, vārdnīcu sastādītājus, psihologus, kultūras speciālistus.

Bachelor thesis is devoted to the study of the semantics of words presented in a specific form: the form of a ruling in a crossword. The aim of the work is to identify possible ways of representing the semantics of the word in contemporary crosswords. The author makes comparisons between the semantics of the words in crosswords and the semantics of the same words in a dictionary. On the basis of revealed differences between interpretation given in a crossword and definition of that word in the vocabulary, there is an analysis carried out, which reveals specific representation of a word in a crossword. The author also provides comments on the possible causes of the identified differences as well as on the selected way of representation the meanings of words, chosen by a crossword compiler. The thesis consists of two chapters.
