Satelītu tehnikas un tehnoloģiju terminoloģija igauņu un latviešu valodā

Abstract

Satelītu tehnikas un tehnoloģiju nozare Igaunijā un Latvijā ir salīdzinoši jauna joma, kas strauji attīstās, un līdz ar nozari attīstās arī tās terminoloģija. Pētāmās nozares terminoloģija nav plaši aprakstīta, tāpēc bakalaura darba „Satelītu tehnikas un tehnoloģiju terminoloģija igauņu un latviešu valodā” izstrādei tiek izvirzīti mērķi: konstatēt satelītu tehnikas un tehnoloģiju terminoloģijas, kas saistīta ar Igaunijas studentu satelītu ESTCube-1, pašreizējo stāvokli igauņu un latviešu valodā; analizēt terminu izstrādes principus; izveidot latviešu-angļu-igauņu vārdnīcu un izstrādāt mājas lapas www.estcube.eu latvisko versiju. Rezultātā tiek konstatēta pētāmās nozares terminu izplatība vārdnīcās un terminu datubāzēs un, analizējot terminu izstrādes principus, uzmanība vērsta internacionālismu un nacionālu terminu īpatsvaram, tādējādi tiek aizsākts pētījums, ko iespējams turpināt plašāk.

Satellite technology comparatively is new field of studies in Estonia and Latvia that develops fast, wherewith develops as well field terminology. The terminology of satellite technology has not been studied widely, therefore for Bachelor thesis “Satellite technology terminology in Estonian and Latvian” has been set objectives (1) to ascertain terminology’s, related to Estonia’s student satellite ESTCube-1, current state in Estonian and Latvian language, (2) analyze the principles of terminology development, (3) compile Latvian– English – Estonian dictionary and (4) develop entries in Latvian for ESTCube-1 official homepage www.estcube.eu. Consequently has been ascertained satellite technology terminology prevalence in dictionaries and databases, and by analyzing principles of terminology work, the prevalence of internationalisms and national terms. Therefore, has been started research that can be continued further.
