Lasāmo tekstu izvēle literāro tekstu analīzei, apgūstot angļu valodu kā svešvalodu

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir „Lasāmo tekstu izvēle literāro tekstu analīzei, apgūstot angļu valodu kā svešvalodu”. Ar šo darbu autore vēlas pievērst uzmanību tam, ka lasāmo tekstu izvēlei literāro tekstu analīzei augstākajā izglītībā būtu jābalstās ne tikai uz iekļaujamo leksiku, bet jāņem vērā arī studentu motivēšana, gandarījums un estētiskās vērtības. Darba uzmanības centrā ir noteicošie kritēriji lasāmā teksta izvēlē literāro tekstu analīzei angļu valodas kā svešvalodas apguvē, tomēr tiek sniegts arī īss pārskats par leksikas apguvi, lasīšanas tipiem un lasāmajiem tekstiem mācību grāmatās. Darba mērķis ir lasāmo tekstu iezīmju noteikšana mācību grāmatā „English for Advanced Studies” un šo iezīmju salīdzināšana ar teorijā noteiktajiem kritērijiem. Darba hipotēze ir šāda: integrētās teksta analīzes (ITA) kurss augstākās izglītības līmenī sniedz nozīmīgus ieguvumus. The topic of this Bachelor Thesis is “Selection of Reading Texts for Literary Text Analysis in Learning English as a Foreign Language”. In this paper the author would like to call attention to the fact that the selection of reading texts for text analysis at the tertiary level should be based on not only the selection of vocabulary items to be included, but also on raising students’ motivation, gratification and aesthetic evaluation. The focus of the paper is on the criteria determining the selection of reading texts for text analysis in English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom; however, a brief survey of the ideas concerning the vocabulary learning, reading behaviour and reading texts in course books is also performed.
