Darbības vārda neesamība laikraksta “Metro” virsrakstos

Abstract

Pētījuma objekts ir virsraksts vienas no Somijas populārākām avīzēm Metro. Sakarā ar to, ka lasot Metro avīzi, kura ir domāta Somijas multinacionālai sabiedrībai, tika pamanīti virsraksti ar izlaistiem darbības vārdiem, tika izvirzīta pētīšanas darba hipotēze: “Pārāk bieža darbības vārda izlaišana no Metro-avīzes rakstu virsrakstiem izraisa grūtības to ideju saprašanai.” Pēc virsraksta nozīmes rakstā, tā valodas īpatnības un darbības vārda neesamības parādības noteikšanas autore ar praktiskām metodēm ir noliegusi izvirzīto hipotēzi. Pirmkārt, tika izpētīti 40 Metro-avīzes kultūras, sporta un vietējas ziņas virsraksti. 714 virsraksti, no kuriem vairāk nekā puse saturēja darbības vārdus, tika sadalītu uz grupām un aprakstīti. Otrkārt, tika veiktas divas aptaujas, kuras bija domātas cilvēkiem ar somu valodu kā dzimto valodu un cilvēkiem, kuriem somu valoda nav dzimta. Rezultāti apliecināja, ka virsraksti ar izlaistiem darbības vārdiem var būt saprotami. Atslēgvārdi: virsraksta formula, predikāts, darbības vārds, avīze, aptauja.

The object of the research is the headline in one of the most popular newspapers in Finland – Metro newspaper. There were found a lot of headlines with missing verbs in Metro-newspaper, which is meant for a multicultural society of Finland. Therefore the author has advanced a hypothesis: that unreasonable absence of the verbs in Metro-newspaper headlines causes difficulties in its idea understanding. After the author has defined the headlines meaning, its language characteristic features and the verbs absence phenomenon the hypothesis has been denied. The first method was researching all of the 40 Metro-newspapers headlines about culture, sport and home country news. All of the 714 headlines were described in the separate groups. Most of the headlines contained the verbs. The second method is two questionnaires, which were meant for people whose mother tongue is Finnish or any other. The results confirmed that the headlines with the missing verbs can be understood. Keywords: the formulas of headlines, predicate, verb, newspaper, questionnaire.
