dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darbā tiek pētīta runas prasmju attīstīšana individuālās valodas studijās. Darba mērķis ir atrast efektīvus runas prasmju attīstīšanas veidus individuālā apmācībā. Darba teorētiskā daļa aplūko teoriju par individuālo mācīšanu un komunikatīvo pieeju, kā arī analizē runas prasmju vērtēšanu. Darba praktiskā daļa sniedz pilotpētījuma aprakstu un tajā iegūtos rezultātus, kas ir balstīti uz intervijām ar studenti, mācību materiālu un studentes runas analīzi. Iegūtie rezultāti atspoguļo komunikatīvas pieejas efektivitāti ar dažiem ierobežojumiem: dažas aktivitātes nevarēja tikt izmantotas nepietiekoša dalībnieku skaita dēļ. Komunikatīvās pieejas pielietošana praksē veicināja studentes runas prasmju attīstīšanu. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The current MA research investigates the development of speaking skills within one-to-one context, the purpose of which is to find effective ways of developing speaking skills one-to-one. In the theoretical part a comparative analysis of the theories on teaching one-to-one, the Communicative Approach as well as assessment of the speaking skills are reviewed and analysed. The empirical part consists of the description of the pilot study and its results. The data collection tools were interviews with one-to-one learner, analysis of the teaching materials and the student’s speech transcript. The findings include the effectiveness of the Communicative Approach in developing speaking skills with some limitations regarding the context of teaching: some of the activities could not be implemented due to lack of more participants. The application of the Communicative Approach resulted in the student’s more accurate and fluent oral production of the language. | en_US |
