Gramatiskā metafora politiskajā diskursā

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek apskatīts gramatiskās metaforas lietojums politiķiem uzstājoties kā oratoriem, savu pienākumu pildīšanas laikā, lai izvairītos no pārpratumiem, piešķirot valodai vairāk lokanības. Šī darba mērķis ir gramatisko metaforu izmantošanas iespēju izzināšana un to lietojuma izpēte politiskās uzstāšanās laikā. Pētījums virzīts uz starppersonu gramatiskās metaforas pielietošanu, izmantojot modalitāti, kā valodas līdzekļi. Modalitāte ir centrālais pētījuma jautājums, kas tika studēts, izvēlēto politisko runu kvalitatīvajā analīzē, saskaņā ar aplūkotajiem mēŗķiem un tēmām tajās. Izpētes rezultāti noveda pie secinājumiem, ka gramatiskās metaforas lietojums politiskajās runās, paver jaunas iespējas valodai, padarot to daudz pārliecinošāku klausītājiem.

The present paper examines how grammatical metaphors are used by politicians in the process of achieving persuasion during the execution of their duties as public speakers and how they may be effective in order to avoid misunderstandings by adding more flexibility to the language of politics. The goal of this research paper is to investigate the use of grammatical metaphors employed in political speeches. The paper aims at focusing on the interpersonal grammatical metaphor used in political speeches as means of persuasion in relation to power and solidarity by means of modality. Modality is the central issue discussed in the qualitative analysis of political speeches chosen according to purpose and themes discussed in them. The research findings have resulted in a conclusion that grammatical metaphors in political speeches create new opportunities to use language of politics making it more persuasive for the listener.
