Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Fantāzijas elementi Lūkiāna Patiesajos stāstos. Bakalaura darbā izvirzītais mērķis ir apzināt un izpētīt fantāzijas elementus un to izpausmi Lūkiāna Patiesajos stāstos. Teorētiskās daļas pirmās divas nodaļas iepazīstina ar fantāzijas izpratnes veidošanos no antīkās kultūras līdz mūsdienām. Teorētiskās daļas noslēgumā piedāvāts ieskats trīs fantāziju pētošu zinātnisko darbu komentāros. Tā rezultātā definēti tipiskākie fantāzijas elementi literatūrā. Praktiskais pētījums veikts, izmantojot divu veidu pētnieciskās metodes. Pirmkārt, tiek veikta fantāzijas leksēmu jaunrades kontekstuāla analīze. Otra pētījumā izmantotā metode ir salīdzinošs skatījums tekstā ietvertajā ceļojuma naratīvā. Tā kā fantāzija antīkajā literatūrā ir maz pētīts literārais aspekts, šāda tēmas izvēle paver plašas iespējas turpmākiem pētījumiem un interesantu izpētes lauku.

The theme of the bachelor’s thesis is Fantasy elements in Lucian’s True Stories. The aim set forth by the bachelor’s thesis is to identify and study the fantasy elements and how they are manifested in Lucian’s True Stories. The first two chapters of the theoretical part introduce the reader with the formation of the understanding of fantasy from ancient culture to the contemporary world. The conclusion of the theoretical part offers an insight into the comments of three scholastic works that study fantasy. As a result of this, the most common fantasy elements in literature are defined. The practical research is done using two research methods. Firstly, a contextual analysis of the new fantasy lexemes created by the author is undertaken. The second method used for the research is a comparative look at the narrative of the journey included in the text. As fantasy in ancient literature is a seldom researched aspect, this topic opens up a range of possibilities for further research and an interesting field of study.
