Novadpētniecības materiālu izmantošana skolu ģeogrāfijā: Ciblas novada piemērs

Abstract

Katram cilvēkam ir sava dzimtā puse, savs nostūrītis uz Zemes, kur zāle liekas zaļāka un debesis zilākas. Tā ir dzimtās puses elpa un smarža, ko mēs katrs saņemam bērnībā un kas mūs pavada visu turpmāko dzīvi. Tā iet katram līdzi, vienalga, cik tālu aizceļotu no dzimtās puses un kādus izcilus sasniegumus sasniegtu. Vienalga mēs esam tie paši – zēns un meitene no Ciblas novada, no tālās Latvijas austrumu pierobežas. Šajā darbā parādīts, kā ģeogrāfijas stundās izmantot jau esošos novadpētniecības materiālus un pašiem veikt padziļinātu sava novada izpētes darbu: iepazīt Ciblas novada ģeogrāfiju, vēsturi, cilvēku dzīvi un darbību, iedzīvotāju raksturojumu, nodarbošanos, kultūru. Skolēnos tiek audzināta mīlestība uz savu novadu, dzimto pusi, tuvāko apkārtni, uz cilvēkiem. Darbā paradīts, kā, piedaloties novada sakopšanā, padarot to skaistāku, iemācīties lepoties ar savu dzimto novadu, tā cilvēkiem, atļauties sapņot lielus sapņus un ļaut tiem piepildīties.

Each person has his or her own native place on the Earth where grass is greener and the sky is bluer. It is the breath and scent of the native place that we all receive in childhood and which follows us for all our life. It goes along each of us no matter how far we travel from our native place and no matter what achievements we make in our lives. We still remain the same – a boy or a girl from Cibla district, from the far eastern border of Latvia. This diploma paper shows how the existing materials of local history study can be applied in geography lessons and how we can do a deeper research of our district – get acquainted with geography, history, people’s lives and activities, inhabitants’ characteristics, employment and culture in Cibla district. Love towards their own district, native area, its surroundings and people is cultivated among students. The diploma paper shows how we can learn to be proud of our native district and its people through taking part in cleaning the district and making it more beautiful. We can also learn how to dear dream big derams and let them come true.
