Modernisma prozas tulkošana no spāņu valodas latviešu valodā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā „Modernisma prozas tulkošana no spāņu valodas latviešu valodā” aprakstīts modernisma prozas tulkojamība no spāņu valodas latviešu valodā, tulkošanas problēmas, risinājumi un nepieciešamās prasmes. Darba mērķis ir analizēt šo procesu un uzzināt metodes, kā panākt labu modernisma prozas tulkojumu. Pētījuma laikā secināts, ka modernisma prozu ir iespējams tulkot no spāņu valodas latviešu valodā, ja vien tulkotājs pārzina modernisma iezīmes, tās saglabā tulkojumā, tulkotājam piemīt labas literārās spējas, tas ir radošs un spēj izveidot mērķa tekstu labā mērķa avota valodas līmenī.

The master thesis “Translation of Modernist Prose Fiction from Spanish into Latvian” deals with the translatability of the prose fiction from Spanish into Latvian, the respective problems, solutions and competences. The goal of the thesis is to analyze this process and to learn the methods for achieving a good translation of modernist prose fiction. During the investigation conclusions have been drawn that the modernist prose fiction can be translated from Spanish into Latvian, as long as the translator is aware of the modernist characteristics, maintains them in the translation, possesses good literary skills, is creative and can produce a target text in a good level of the target language.
