The theme of the Paper is "Armenians In The Middle East". Armenia is an ancient high-cultured country that has a very rich history. The history of Armenia attributed to Movses Khorenatsi, is an early account of Armenia, covering the mythological origins of the Armenian people as well as Sassanid, Byzantine and Arshacid Armenia down to the 5th century. It contains unique material on ancient Armenian legends, and such information on pagan (pre-Christian) Armenia as has survived. It also has information about the Armenian Diaspora in the Middle East.
The paper is split into three chapters:
The first chapter is divided into three parts and devoted to the history of Armenians, several Armenian kingdoms and states, relationships and battles with the Empires and the Arab Caliphate: they always managed to overtake Armenian territories and control them. The second chapter is devoted to the Armenian Churches (Catholic and Apostolic) and their establishment, and the main religion of the Armenian people – Christianity. In the third chapter the attention is given to the Armenian Diaspora and life of Armenian communities in the Middle East countries.
